Hello,
As you can see in my simple example, the white background colour does not fill all the way down in the content area. On page 1, the background image shows under the widget and on page 2, the background image shows under the main content.
The background color is set for white for body, header, etc.
This happens when Separate Containers is the layout choice.
By the way, I am thoroughly enjoying using your theme and Pro plug-in.
Your thoughts?
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Leo,

Thank you for your quick response.

Yes, one container works and that is what I am using on another site.

But then – why have the option of separate containers? What is the advantage?
I have personally found that I have finer control with separate containers, but that may simply be by way of putting a webpage together.

I could always change the body background colour to white – to match the other component backgrounds, but that defeat the purpose of an image background.

Regardless, if using one container is the best solution, then I will stick with it – it works.

I have just started using GeneratePress recently and once again, appreciate your help.

Tom

Separate containers and one container are simply just style, no advantage or disadvantage.

Some people just like the separate containers style like this one:

Glad I could help!

Got it - thanks Leo.
