    Hi Tom,

I read your advice about using Autoptimize, that I was already using. Recently Siteground released a great update to their Optimizer, and now I was wondering if using Autoptimize was still worth it.

    here’s the conflict notice:

Important message from SG Optimizer plugin: We have detected that there is duplicate functionality with other plugins installed on your site: Autoptimize and have deactivated the following functions from our plugin: HTML Minification, JavaScript Minification, CSS Minification. If you wish to enable them, please do that from the SG Optimizer config page.

What would you suggest to do?

    Hi there,

They should both work well with GeneratePress.

I would think the easiest way to see which one works for your set up better is to use one plugin first, run your site through speed test then do the same for the second plugin, then compare the results.

    Hope this helps!
