Autoptimize Cache Files render blocking

Hello everyone,

I am in the process of optimising my site speed on my local machine.

As recommended, I am using Autoptimize following this guide: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/configuring-autoptimize/

However, now the cache files are render blocking: https://gyazo.com/b48aadde01df230c52ec1b3087aa0043

and unused CSS issue: https://gyazo.com/5489e588fb1be7bfa0582bf2a8238e95

Any ways to fix this?

Hi there,

450kb of CSS is a HUGE amount of CSS ... in that instance you DON'T want to use Automptimize to Comnbine CSS files ... if yo have a few small CSS files that total less then 50kb then its good to go, anything larger then that and you should disable that option.

I would also recommend you look at what is generating that amount of CSS...
