Automatically add posts to menu?

When I publish a blog post, I want it to be automatically added to the menu, instead of having to manually add it each time I publish a new post. Is that possible? Thank you.
It seems that they stopped developing this plugin not long after the recommendation was made - I haven't been able to find anything similar.
But better still (and the reason I always add 'generatepress' to my searches) is there a way to do this with a snippet of php rather than adding another plugin?
