Automatic updates for premium plugin

Sorry if this issue has already been answered. But, the automatic updates for the premium plugin do not seem to work for me. this seems to only have started with the most recent updates. When I click on update plugin through the WordPress dashboard I get an error message saying the plugin is not authorized. I have the license key installed and I am using cloud servers with no restrictions.

I read through documentation that suggests installing another plugin to help with this, or deleting the current version of the plugin and uploading the new version. Neither of these options is acceptable to me, especially with client sites. I have other premium plugins that update automatically just fine, so I see no reason why the generate press plugin could not as well.
