Asign categories to pages and display it in the URL slug

i found out what code to use to asign categories to pages (https://hamzashatela.com/3-ways-to-add-categories-and-tags-for-wordpress-pages/), but i wonder if you may know if it is also possible to add the category slug on the page URL ? example site.com/category/page ?

Hi there,

i have not been able to find a solution for displaying the category in the URL. I am not sure if its possible without custom coding as the heirarchy that generates the URL doesn't really 'exist'.

Which plugin you using for the breadcrumbs? Have you tried speaking with its author?

Hi! I use seo yoast for the breadcrums, but im not sure why is that related? As the breadcrums dont affect he url config right?

Yoast does provide a function to update the URL but it only allows taxonomies in the URL for the Post post type not pages...

May want to check on stackoverflow if someone has a solution.
