[Support request] applying gradient to body background color

I attempted to apply this gradient in Additional CSS area under Customize using the “body” tag but it doesn’t work

background: linear-gradient(to bottom, #fffb00 0%, #f5a700 100%);

can you let me know which tag to apply it to?

Hi there,

can’t see anything wrong with that property which means its probably working but the body background is being obscured by the content area.

Try targeting the #page instead. If it still doesn’t work can you link me to your site.
