Just as I described. It's impossible to work with. I have disabled Wordfence which has been problematic in the past. I have also already installed the child theme.

I check the hosting, no load spikes, and no errors. It's related to the theme.

Yes, I have already increased PHP memory on a hosting level and WordPress level (wp-config.php) but the problem still stands.

have you tried/checked all of the following:

Another browser or after clearing caches and hard reload?
Checked the name of the child theme as errors here can cause too many redirects.
Disable plugins to see if this clears problem?
Are there any server or debug errors being logged?

The problem seems to be the Thrive Architect builder. Any ideas on how I can make them play together? I tested several times and once the Thrive Architect plugin is enabled everything freezes.

Would you mind doing a little more troubleshooting?
If so:
Can you reactivate thrive and then deactivate all of the Modules in Appearance > GeneratePress.
If the problem clears can you reactivate the modules one at a time to see if one breaks it.

Hi,

I just did that. I didn't find any correlation between them. For a sec, it seemed to be the blog plugin, but after some testing when that was disabled, everything still frozed after that.

Hmm weird we haven't received any reports on this before.

Just to double check, did you test with only Thrive and GP premium activated and all other plugins disabled?

Yes, the problem still exists. Can I just give you the access and you can check it yourself? Or how we can go on from here?

Yes, I did that just now. Thanks.

Got that and just tested, not experiencing the issue (yet) tested on OSX Chrome, FF and Safari.

Can you confirm what device / OS / Browser?
And do you have any browser extensions running?
Does the customiser break when first entering it? Or is it after an event, such as saving a change?

I am using OSX + Chrome. And yes I have several browser extensions - how this can impact this?

It freezes when I first enter it. Sometimes I can do 1-2 clicks or scrolls (until it loads) after what it freezes. Sometimes it freezes right away. It always takes some time to load - about 5 sec maybe?

I also just tested, and it just stays loading. I will try other browser just to be sure.

Damn, you are right. When I try with Firefox and no plugins then everything works. Hmm.

OK, so when it freezes can you right click and inspect the page and see if there are any Console errors reported?
Some extensions may interfere with the way the page is rendered, blocking scripts or causing timeouts.
