For some reason the code did not affect my widget. What could be the reason?

So try adding importance to the font size e.g font-size: 16px !important;
The other reason maybe the content of the widget is not a P tag, but another element that has its own stying. Also this won't effect the Widget titles.

I think you are right. I added the text at the HTML. Do I need another code in my case?
