    Hi,

    referred this –

    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/smooth-scroll/

activated smooth scroll in general, and created smooth scroll with anchor point, assigned class, etc, also added PHP in function.php but yet scroll not smooth ??

its working but directly pointing without scrolling effects etc.

did i commit a mistake or anything else, guide how to make it smooth and slow (like professional sites).

also want to hide anchor point name in which is displaying in URL (Refer snapshot).

    refer links and snaps..

    Hi there,

you will need to use a GenerateBlocks Button to do that, once that button is added and selected in the editor, go to Advanced > Additional CSS Class(es) and add: smooth-scroll – GB buttons will put that class on the link where it is required, the core buttons block does’nt.

Its Javascript and Tom explains at the end of the topic how it can be added.
But this requirement is out of our scope – you may want to employ a developer who can make those kinds of changes.

Sorry we can’t be of assistance here. Your request is to overwrite the default browser functionality using Javascript – which isn’t in our scope. If we had the code available that we were confident that would work then we would provide it. Not much more we can do.
