AMP Adsense Generatepress Theme Not Load
11 replies · Started by Kevin on March 8, 2022
I'm trying to use AMP on my site with Generatepress but ADInsert's AMP ads don't load... It appears until Load but is blank... Only Sticke loads, but the others don't. If I change the theme to another one, the AMP ads load normally.
Another AMP bug on the site is the Menu, I click and it doesn't expand...
Hi Kevin,
Did you install the GP+AMP plugin?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/amp-compatibility/
Let me know :)
With the plugin the menu started working, but AMP ads still don't appear, only Stick, both are in Adinsert, it's not AdInsert because in the other themes it works normally.

If you switch this site to a twenty twenty series theme, do the ads show up correctly?
Let me know :)
Yes, changing to the other themes, AMP ads usually appear. That's what I said, sometimes my sentences get confused because I use Google translator.

Have you tried switch theme to twenty twenty series on this specific site? As when I check, the ads' source isn't loading properly:

Let me know when you finishing switching, so I can inspect the site in twenty twenty series environment.
Thanks :)
Enter now, see that in the 2020 theme ads normally work... Even with generatepress Plugin, AMP shows incompatibility in the theme and GP Premium plugin.
Hum.. it does show up in twenty twenty.
Can you try switch back to GP theme (if you are using a child theme, switch to the parent theme), then disable the GP premium plugin to test?
In the original theme other than Child it worked... AMP is not compatible with child? If it is, what code is causing this?
You will need to remove the items you've added in the child theme's function.php one by one to determine the culprit.
Strange, I removed all fucntion.php codes and the continuous bug.
What happens if you download a fresh child theme from here and just leave it blank?
