Align Navigation in Header (Elements)

Hi,
I wanted to align the navigation bar with my logo image. I can change padding or offset of the header is merge option is selected but how could I move the navigation menu to fit with my logo?
Ok solved with additional css
.main-nav {
margin-top: 2em
