after upgrading there are issues

after updating I am having issues with the website
1. I cannot see images in the media
2. Widget area is blank
3. I opened a another ticket earlier, with regard to unabality to update the theme

Hi there,
1 & 2: These things are handled by WordPress so shouldn't be related to the theme or premium plugin as well.
Can you disable all plugins except GP Premium to test?
Do you get the same issue when using a Twenty series WP theme?

For the time being, i installed old back up and working, as my client needs the site, I am not going to update, may be I will recreate the whole site.

Just out of curiosity, what exactly did you upgrade? What versions did you upgrade from/to?

i upgraded to wordpress 5.8.1, then theme upgrading was available 3.04, but but could not up date.

Are you able to start a staging site and let us take a look?
sorry thank you very much for your support, I am scared to update to wordpress newest version, all these issues comes with after updating wordpress, for the time being I am not updating this website, but I can update generate press. May be I will redesign this website from scratch. I prefer to close this ticket as problem solved, I am very grateful for the support given by generatepress.
