After update to GPP 1.8 - jquery error with Cyrillic script menu name

Hi!
I just updated to GPP 1.8 and all my BODY part of the site looks blank ! .... just header and footer.
When I check in the Inspector it seems as everything is there and texts have their color and styling, but on the actual page, it seems as everything is rendered with the background color and page just look blank.
Please help !

can you flush and disable your cache. And then clear your browser caches. Let me know.
Just flushed the WP cache and minified CSS, disabled WP FASTEST CACHE, Flushed browser cache, reloaded CSS in the browser - still the same.
Tried also another browser, + in incognito mode - still blank page.
When I disable GPP everything appears again !

Can you try changing the name of the menu in "Appearance > Menus" to something in English?
Yep! That resolved the issue! It is strange, as up until that update it worked flawlessly.
Yea, we added something to resolve a duplicate ID issue, but I wasn't aware that WP outputs Russian characters like that in the ID attribute. We'll get this fixed in 1.8.1.

I just mentioned that you changed the name of the topic.
As somebody else can have the same issue, maybe is better to name it "jquery error with menu name in Cyrillic" as actually there are quite a few other languages except Russian that use the Cyrillic script (as in this case, it is actually Bulgarian language). ... Just a suggestion.
