[Resolved] Adding text to the header

Hey

I would like to add text to the header, right now this is where the site title and tag line is on my page but I don’t actually want to use these there. I want to use custom text in that exact spot.

I guess the best way to do this is with header widgets right? Or should I use an element?

If I add a header widget it causes the search box etc to mess up.

are you displaying a Site Logo? or the Site Title and Description?
And what arrangement? for example – Site Logo above, custom text below.

Hi David,

Sorry I didn’t explain very well.

Basically right now to the right of the logo I am display the site title and description to insert some text there. However, I wanted to disable them from appearing and show some custom text in that exact spot.

That make sense? As I want my site title to be different to what is displayed in this spot.

So the Hook Element, there is an after_logo hook – give that a shot.
