Adding Child theme to the main website theme

Hi,

I would like to add a child theme to our live website.

Previously we imported a theme from the site library and done some customizations.

If I add a child theme now then all the previous customizations will be lost or not?

Otherwise, Pl suggests what to do to add a child theme now without losing the present customizations.

Hi there,

The main thing to do before activating the child theme is to Copy the CSS in the Customizer > Additional CSS.
Then switch to the child and Paste the CSS back into the Customizer > Additional CSS or you can add it to your child themes styles.css

After that update your logo and copyright info.
