Dear Sir/Madam,
I follow the step from https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-breadcrumbs/, I did installed the Yoast SEO, added the elements with entire site https://prnt.sc/1gmvaz3, I visit another page but there is no breadcrumbs. What did I miss?
Best regards,
Kelvin.
Hi there,
which Hook did you choose ? As the one provided in the Doc will only display on Posts.
Change it to the generate_after_entry_header if you want it on pages too.
See this guide for the main hook placements.
Dear David,
I installed the Yoast SEO and add the Breadcrumb just after the navigation (https://prnt.sc/1j1asst), how can I customize the DIV to move the breadcrumb to a block which width is the same as the site content? (see screenshot in private information)
Dear David,
I finally can make the Breadcrumb but how can I make the title with full width underline below the breadcrumb? https://prnt.sc/1j1qmee
I try to add one more Header Elements (https://prnt.sc/1j1rgap) but no luck, only the Custom Header - Breadcrumb can be showed.
Here is the setting to the Custom Header - Title
Page Hero Setting (https://prnt.sc/1j1sd7a)
Display Rules (https://prnt.sc/1j1soy5)
Please advise how I can make the title below the Breadcrumb with full width underline.
Can you share a link to the post where i can see this?

So i would do this instead:
1. Create a new Block Element.
2. Select the Element Type: Page Hero
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-page-hero/
- Select the option to disable the Content Title
3. Add a GB Container Block ( for breadcrumb ):
- add the Breadcrumb Shortcode to the container.
- Then style the Container for the colors.
4. Add a second Container Block ( for Title ),
- add a H1 Headline Block, and set its Dynamic Data type to Post Title.
- then style the container block > Spacing > Border Bottom, and then set the Color > Border.
Then you can remove the Header Element.
Dear David,
Excellent tutorial. Does GP have more tutorial guidelines?
