Hi there,
If you set your "Content Type" to "Excerpt", it should happen automatically: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/blog-content-layout/
Let me know if you need more info :)
Hi Tom,
My Content Tyoe is Excerpt, but read more doesn't work.
Is there another option?
Can you guide me to the page where I can see the issue as the site is not in English?
Thanks :)
Hi,
To which e-mail address can I send a screen image and login data from my website so that you can better view my problem
You can use upload screenshots using this service and provide the direct link here:
https://postimages.org/
Can you guide me to the page in question first?
Won't need the login just yet.
Hi Leo,
Did you see my screenshorts? Were they helpfull?
No I didn't see any screenshots as you didn't provide any links here?
Can you guide me to the page first? Screenshots aren't very helpful in cases like this.
Let me know :)
Hi,
The url is http://www.geitenboerke.nl
Can you guide me to the posts page where the read more is supposed to show?
I have sent my screenshot to postimages.org
Once you upload the screenshots to postimages.org, you need to copy and paste the direct links they provided here.
And again screenshots don't really help in cases like this. Any chance you can link me to the posts page where the read more is supposed to show?
It took a while before I understood, but here is the url to the screenshot

So looks like that's the content of the front page?
Unfortunately read more can only be used on the posts/archive pages, not on a static page.
Ok thanks for your reply.
Kind regards Thijs
