Add margin padding in footer widgets

I would like to add margins/paddings into my footer widget related with categories and social networks to resolve two adsense incedents:
The clickable elements are too close to each other
The content is wider than the screen

Not quite sure what you mean.
There is sufficient padding from what I can tell and no content is wider than the screen:

I think the same but Google Adsense not :(
