[Support request] Add boxes around features on page

On my home page I have features like a featured article which is a 1-column 1-1row list from wp_show_posts.
I would like to add some sort of border around that article. I have a white background so I was just hoping for a box around it, just something to help segregate the featured article from what is around it.

I have no idea how to do that 😐
