[Resolved] Add an "if" statement

I am not savvy with php and making code work…yet. Therefore I am asking for support with the following:

do_action( 'generate_after_header' );

I could not figure out how to use the Elements in theme – it was foreign to me and the instructions I could not grasp at this time. I need help with adding an if statement to show header images in the inner pages and not the homepage because I ended up using Elementor achieving my goal to add a video to homepage but now I cannot add a featured image to other pages – can you help me with a piece of code that will work?

are you able to provide a link to your site?
Want to understand why you can’t add featured images to inner pages when you have a video on your homepage. May be some simple remedy to that instead of applying an action to fix it.
