There seems to be an invisible rule that determines whether a given Vimeo tutorial is narrated or not. My preference would be that they are all narrated. The author’s perception of the tutorial’s complexity should not be used as guidance since the author cannot really put him/herself in the user’s “shoes”. The lack of narration combined with the speed of the presentation makes me dazzled – a feeling different than satisfied and happy ๐Ÿ™‚

As one cannot expect the immediate resolution of this issue, perhaps someone can help me with a few written paragraphs of the explanation of the process for adding the navigation for the collection of static pages. I would like to put the Advanced Sidebar Menu in a sidebar. This should be put together as a GeneratePress element that will appear on all pages of the certain type.

I would be happy to return the favor by creating a help document that could be added to your online help collection. Since this is a new concept (at least from my point of view), you may consider supporting it officially, by defining a framework where GeneratePress users community contributes with technical documents on GeneratePress. BY defining a framework, I am suggesting to “open up” your own tool used to create a document like https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-child-theme/.

Not that this tool is precisely what I am after in my question on using the Advanced Sidebar Menu

    Hi there,

Does that just add a regular widget to your website? If so, you would likely be better off using a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/content-aware-sidebars/

That will allow you to place that widget into a sidebar under specific conditions.

Most of our documentation is written, although there are a couple of narrated videos. The promotional videos on our premium page are quite quick and not narrated, but they’re mostly meant as a quick preview of what’s possible.

    I appreciate the feedback! ๐Ÿ™‚
