A brand new post with a custom style

I own a GP Premium Theme and I am very happy with it!

But, once in a while, I need a "promotional page" with a completely different style from my GP Theme.

I know I always could create a new folder and use a experimental web layout like this, for example: https://tympanus.net/codrops/2019/05/16/animated-image-columns/

But I would prefer to have this "promotional page" inside my Wordpress panel.

Thus, comes the question: is there a way to complete override all my GP settings (and styling) just for one post, allowing me to create a "brand new" style, fonts and settings just for that specific case?

I don't know if I was clear enough... But, anyway, I appreciate any help.

Take care!

Hi there,

for a single page i would recommend creating a Page with the Full Width Pagebuilder container and building out the content myself. Thats getting a lot easier to do with the Block editor - which we have released in Beta our own plugin for:

https://generateblocks.com

Might be worth giving it a spin.

Hi David.

Unfortunately I did not get what I wished following your guidelines.

In 'Layout' I created a Page with the Full Width, as you recommended. Also, I disabled all elements inPage Builder Container. But what I got was this: https://www.zenite.nu/test/
(note that still there is the background picture and the header)

I would like a completely blank page and without loading the GP style sheet to build a new layout from scratch on this page.

Well, maybe this is not be possible, Still don't know...

I have an idea...

What if I use a 'theme switch plugin', like Theme Switcha (https://wordpress.org/plugins/theme-switcha/)
and create a new theme Wordpress Theme from scratch?

Couldn't that work to create a different layout just on a specific page?
Or would it be more recommended use a Custom Page Template?

I would personally just use a custom page template.

You can leave out the wp_head() and wp_footer() functions, which will prevent any styles and scripts from being added to the page.

Thank you! I'll try.
