5.8 issue

Hi,
GP. Updating to 5.8 caused an issue with Toms amazing plugin Simple CSS. The layout is broken while editing the page content.
Hi there,
i tried replicating this locally and can't see the issue - that topic you linked to looks to be related to the users OS/Browser.
Are there any errors in the console ( right click > inspect )?
Also make sure any caches have been cleared in case there is some rogue code in the cache.
Oh, it looks like you are right, the issue appears only in Safari. And it does not depend on cache or etc, it looks like its a stable one
Which version of Safari are you using ? I have 14.1 and it works correctly.
13.1, looks like i just need to update mine %) ty
Let us know if the problem persists - it shouldn't :)
The problem DO persist only in safari 13.1.2. Cant say about all other versions. In Chrome it does not.
I attached the prntscr with the broken layout and the error in safari 13.1.2
Yeah not sure if that error is directly related.
And i think the issue is more to do with the Meta Box layout then the plugins that output it. There isn't anything the plugin does aside from deciding where it is displayed.
Might be worth raising the issue on the WordPress github... but to be honest i don't think they'll patch a legacy browser issue, particularly Safari.
Thanks David, thats for sure)
:) You're welcome
