1.7 beta 2: Internal notes suggestion

The internal notes addition is amazing! Can I suggest also the option to be able to add the notes at the list of elements in the admin so we can have a bird's eye view of where they are used and why? Also what about internal notes for "Header" and "Layout"?
I wonder if adding them to the list view would become messy if notes are too long?
I'll consider adding them to the other types as well :)
Yeah, I know what you mean, maybe if they were concatenated? Anyway just a suggestion, thanks!
I'll play with it :)
Hi Tom. Good to see the notes implemented in all Elements for the beta 3! I read on the facebook group the following change too:
Elements: Shorten Internal Notes description
Initially I though that you implemented shorten(concatenated) description for the elements list page on the backend but when I visited the elements list I couldn't find the column. Is that a different thing?
Different thing for now. If I add them to the admin list, they will likely exist in some sort of tooltip :)
So what does the existing mean?
The description below the actual textarea when editing Elements.
Sorry, didn't get that. Are you talking about this here?

Yes :)
Oh right, didn't know that needed shortening in the first place. Anyway, I think I won't be using this feature myself, I find it counter productive to just need to go inside each element just to see what it's doing, it kind of defeats the whole purpose for me. Tooltips would be an improvement but again it would be a momentarily reminder as long as the tooltip is up.
Thanks for the improvement though and for listening!
