Hi Generatepress support, my website (www.scuphed.com) has an off canvas panel on my mobile site that holds my product filters, I found CSS to center the text of two of my widgets on the off canvas panel (CSS and centered widgets’ text shown here): https://snipboard.io/fESUnA.jpg. Problem is, this shows correctly on my desktop when it is displaying what my mobile site should look like, but in reality nothing changes on my mobile site. Any ideas how I could solve this problem? (I have tried clearing my cache and deleting website data on my mobile device)

    Thanks, Anthany

    Hi Anthany,

I don’t see the off canvas panel on your mobile site, could you indicated with button triggers it?

My apologies, the off canvas panel can only be found on the category pages “Hype” and “General”, and is shown as a button labeled “Filters” as shown here: https://snipboard.io/8ud1Hj.jpg

    Hi there,

I’ve checked your site on my phone and the off-canvas contents seemed centered as intended shown here: https://share.getcloudapp.com/04uJd29X (Checked from an android device)

Can you provide screenshots of what your site’s off canvas menu should look like and how it currently looks like on your end? So we could have an idea of what’s the supposed layout.

Hi Elvin thanks for your response. Your screenshot is exactly how I see the site on my mobile device as well. My problem is not that the widgets are not centered, but that the text within the two circled widgets is not centering. As shown in my original screenshot, when I enter the CSS on my website the site shows how the widget’s text should be centered on my mobile site, however on the actual mobile site (just like is shown in the screenshot you sent) the actual text for those two widgets is not centered (it is left aligned). So I am having a discrepancy between what is shown to be happening to my mobile site when I edit it on my desktop, and what is actually happening on the mobile site (my original screenshot of the widget’s text being centered is how the mobile site should look). Hope that clarifies things.

Using text-align in a select element isn’t supported by all browsers. This might help: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/10813528/is-it-possible-to-center-text-in-select-box

I had no idea it could be something to do with browser incompatibility, thank you so much Tom for pointing me in the right direction.
