I am not aware of any issues with AIOSEO and GP.
I did have one issue with AIOSEO some time ago but it was a setting related problem. The developers probably should make changes so that the setting deactivates if the other one is activated.
I cant recall the exact settings off hand. The issue was creating title double ups.
I believe AIOSEO is a great alternative to WP SEO by Yoast. Licence wise it blows Yoast out of the water if you intend on using an SEO plugin with numerous sites.
