I have come to realize that my real problems are not Generate Press problems but rather GoDaddy Managed WordPress Hosting problems. GoDaddy does not allow me to use either of the best caching plugins available, and I am unfortunately stuck with 3 years of pre-paid GoDaddy hosting.
Since I was able to achieve Pagespeed scores of 78 Mobile, and 91 Desktop with the previous theme I tried,
I will give up the extended functionality of the excellent Generate Press Premium Theme, and build my site with a few less options.
This is not a problem with Generate Press.
It is a hosting problem.
Therefore, This is no longer a support question.
