Yes, exactly! I’ve since installed WP Posts Carousel– which is great– but I can’t find a way to include both posts and pages into the same carousel (I use “category tag pages” to add a category to pages). I may have to create a custom post type or something (or find yet another carousel).
By the way, thanks for all your help– you’re going above and beyond in helping with an issue that has nothing to do with your theme and I really appreciate it!
